On or about December 22, 2025, at approximately 6:17 P.M., Wright County Sheriff's Deputy Bilitz was dispatched to a court order violation at a residence located on Marquette Ave NE, Otsego, Wright County, Minnesota. The Complainant, EAM resides at the residence and reported that Joshua Steven Isaksoon, [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein, had been leaving her voicemails and was saying that he had been in the area. EAM reported that there is an active Domestic Abuse No Contact Order, DANCO herein, that prohibits Defendant from having any direct or indirect contact with EAM and her children, whether by telephone, electronically, or by any other means.
EAM reported that she had been receiving voicemails from a blocked number and that she had received eight voicemails that day and two additional voicemails over the previous week. EAM stated that she recognized Defendant's voice in the voicemails and that Defendant had stated in the voicemails that he would like EAM to call him to discuss the DANCO and their relationship. EAM also said that Defendant had talked about being at EAM's residence or near her residence in two of the voicemails. Deputy Bilitz listened to the voicemails and heard the voice say that EAM needed to call him so they could talk about the protection order, Christmas, and their children.
In one of the voicemails, Deputy Bilitiz heard Defendant say that he was going to be in the area for a few days and in another voicemail, Defendant said he was outside of EAM's residence and wanted to know if she would let him in to pick up an item. EAM also reported that she had received text messages from a phone number on November 7, 2025, and that she had only remembered the text messages recently because the same number had texted her the previous day. In the initial messages sent in November, the person stated "This is Wright County Deputy Steven Johnson" and they stated they wanted to speak with EAM about Joshua Isakson.
EAM asked the individual for their badge number to verify their identity and the person responded by saying, "It's obviously Josh." The person went on to message EAM asking EAM to speak with him and told EAM not to say anything. No deputy named "Steven Johnson" works for Wright County. EAM also reported a court order violation on December 1, 2025. In that incidence, EAM reported that Defendant had been calling her from a blocked phone number for a few weeks. EAM reported that Defendant had started to leave her harassing phone calls and voicemails on November 28, 2025, and that Defendant had called her 120 times and left her 9 voicemail messages between November 28th and December 1st.
EAM reported that she had recognized Defendant's voice from the voicemail messages. EAM also reported that Defendant had also contacted her from his work email. EAM reported that she is afraid because Defendant contacts her one after another and she is fearful that it will escalate into an in person event. EAM stated that she feels like there is no way out and that her physical safety is at risk and she worries about what her kids will see. EAM also said that she is looking over her should all the time.
