On October 31, 2025, officers responded to a call for a stolen motor on the 10th block of 66th Street West, in the City of Richfield, County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota. The 911 caller stated that she was driving behind a white Ford F-150 that she recognized as her husband’s truck that had been stolen the week prior. The caller was able to identify the vehicle based on a dent on the tailgate and a sticker on the front. Officers located the vehicle, and as they approached, two occupants exited the F-150 and fled on foot.
Officers detained the driver and identified him as Ryan Edward Teeter [DOB REDACTED]. Officers also detained the passenger and identified him as Leron Aaron Camp [DOB REDACTED]. Officers searched a cross-body bag Camp was wearing and located a window punch, two screwdrivers, a checkbook belonging to J. K. And E. K., and a visa prepaid expense card belonging to S. M., none of whom had any relationship with Camp. Officers contacted E. K., who stated that her checkbook had been stolen from her vehicle and that she did not know Camp or give him permission to have her checkbook.
After being detained, both Camp and Teeter claimed to have swallowed narcotics. Officers ran the VIN and confirmed the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Minneapolis. The rear plate on the vehicle was NLG604 and the plate in the front windshield was LYW102, and the correct license plate for the F-150 was HNN721. Teeter is currently in custody.
