On 12/01/25, Ofc. Mitchell was alerted to a fraud report. The Complainant indicated that she lost her credit card and that there were several unauthorized purchases on her card. The Complainant was identified to be S. J. M., hereinafter referred to as Victim. Victim indicated that the unauthorized card usage occurred at the Walmart located in Dilworth, Clay County, MN. Asset Protection Ofc. (APO) Haerter provided Ofc. Mitchell with surveillance footage from Walmart which showed two separate males using the Victim's card.
The first male could not be identified. The second male who used the card was identified to be AARON DEAN ADAMS [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter referred to as Defendant. Defendant was seen using the Victim's card to conduct two separate transactions. The first transaction was a purchase valued at $90.44. The second transaction was a purchase valued at $175.92. Defendant did not have permission from the Victim [NAME REDACTED], and both transactions were fraudulent. The total value of the fraudulently purchased items was over $250. Defendant's address is unknown.
