On 11/22/25, officers were dispatched to a reported domestic assault at a residence located in Moorhead, Clay County, MN. The Complainant indicated that her son had punched her in the face and cut her wrist. Complainant was identified to be L. M. B., hereinafter referred to as Victim. Victim's son was identified to be COLE LEO DUMONT [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter referred to as Defendant. Victim [NAME REDACTED] had been at her apartment earlier and they got into an argument about him cleaning up after himself.

Defendant got angry and told her "shut the f*ck up you f*cking b****." Victim, who is a 62-year-old female, and she slapped the back of the Defendant's head for talking to her that way. Defendant then punched her in the face with a closed fist. Victim fell on the ground after being punched. Law enforcement observed a distinct bump near the Victim's right eye consistent with getting punched. Further altercation between the two ensued before the Defendant left he residence. Victim [NAME REDACTED]. Defendant has a conviction for misdemeanor assault in ND casefile 09-2022-CR-04640 on 02/09/23. Defendant also has a felony assault conviction in ND casefile 09-2021-CR-01527 on 02/07/22. **This is NOT a DV Court case.
