On December 30, 2025, St. Louis Park police officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Shelard Parkway in St. Louis Park, Hennepin County, Minnesota on a civil assist. Upon arrival, officers met three identified females, one of whom was identified as Victim herein, a minor female. The individuals were removing Victim’s belongings from an apartment in the building where Victim had been residing with her boyfriend, WILLIAM DEANGELO BOYKIN, [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein. Police were called to ensure the safety of the parties for this move out.
One of the adult identified females, Victim’s Aunt, informed police that Victim desired to report to police a number of domestic violence incidents that had recently occurred between her and Defendant. Police spoke with Victim [NAME REDACTED] on multiple occasions between approximately December 7, 2025, and December 29, 2025, Defendant had hit, punched, scratched, bit, strangled, and threatened to kill her. Police were shown Victim’s legs, fingers, arms and back, which had varying sized of bruises in various stages of healing.
The Victim also provided photographs of her injuries. In one of the described incidents, that occurred on or about December 7, 2025, in the parking lot of the apartment building where Defendant and Victim were residing together (300 block of Shelard Parkway, in St. Louis Park, Hennepin County, Minnesota), Defendant strangled victim while saying” “You need to go to sleep, *Victim.* You need to die.” The Victim [NAME REDACTED] during this incident, but she did not lose consciousnesses. Victim’s aunt sent police a photograph of Victim’s eyes shortly after the strangulation occurred, and both eyes showed petechiae.
Officers present during the interview on December 30, also noted the presence of slight petechiae in Victim’s eyes. Defendant remains in custody.
