Patrick James Provo

On November 25, 2025, at approximately 0228 hours, law enforcement was on patrol in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota when they observed a male later identified as Patrick James Provo, [DOB REDACTED] (hereinafter Defendant), riding a bicycle northbound on the western sidewalk without an operating light after dark. Law enforcement conducted a stop and found out the Defendant had warrants for his arrest. While searching the Defendant incident to arrest, law enforcement located a silver handgun in the Defendant’s front sweatshirt pocket.

The Defendant stated he was carrying the gun for a friend. The firearm was identified as a Davis Industries Model P-380 firearm. Law enforcement also located live ammunition in the Defendant’s backpack. The Defendant is prohibited from possessing a firearm and ammunition due to a Felony Domestic Assault conviction in court file number 48-CR-13-2509. The Defendant is in custody.
