On September 20, 2025 at approximately 9:51 P.M., law enforcement officers were dispatched to an assault in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Upon arrival, officers observed a male on the ground with blood coming from his mouth and on his face. He was later identified as B. T. A witness, identified as T. P., reported he was walking eastbound on 4th Street SE near 16th Avenue SE when he observed two males yelling at B. T. About his shirt. T. P. Started to walk away but when he turned around, B. T. Was bleeding from his mouth and lying on the ground.
Surveillance video of the assault was obtained. It reveals a male, later identified as TANNER TIMOTHY RAUSCH [DOB REDACTED], along with another male, later identified as A. H., speaking to T. P. And B. T. RAUSCH and B. T. Are observed shaking hands. T. P. Then starts walking away when RAUSCH winds up and punches B. T. In the face. B. T. Falls straight backyards and RAUSCH proceeds to punch B. T. Two more times in the face. A. H. Pulls RAUSCH away from B. T. And they leave the scene. B. T. Was transported to the hospital and evaluated for his injuries.
He was diagnosed with multiple facial fractures that required surgical intervention. He also sustained significant loss of vision and the extent it will ever be fully restored is unknown. Images of the suspect were circulated, and multiple individuals identified the suspect that assaulted B. T. As RAUSCH. In review of known pictures of RAUSCH, it was determined to be the same person.
