On May 3, 2026, Blaine Police Department responded to a report of a physical dispute and property damage occurring on Marmon Street NE, Blaine, Anoka County. The reporting party, B. A., said several people she did not know were fighting with her friends, but had been locked out. Dispatch advised one of the males had then broken down the front door and the other males were breaking cars. Upon arrival, officers spoke with several individuals at the residence including the host, B. A. And one of her friends, D. S. Officers also stopped a Nissan Altima related to the incident with five males in it.
The five males in the vehicle were identified as Jibril Mustefa Kedir [DOB REDACTED], Defendant Kedir herein; Yusuf Kadir Nigo [DOB REDACTED], Defendant Nigo herein; Hamza Mohammed Deko [DOB REDACTED], Defendant Deko herein; Amin Muktar Adam [DOB REDACTED], Defendant Adam herein; and Abduli Hayato Tusa [DOB REDACTED], Defendant Tusa herein. In speaking with B. A., officers learned she had rented the location as an AirBnB for her birthday. B. A. Invited some friends over, but Defendant Kedir brought the Defendant’s listed above, whom B. A. Did not know.
At some point, an argument started between the invited guests and Defendant Kedir’s guests. The argument escalated to a physical altercation and B. A. Requested all of the Defendants leave multiple times. During one of her attempts to tell them to leave, B. A. Was pulled outside and to the ground, where she was punched and kicked. B. A. Was able to get up and back inside of the AirBnB as her friends locked the door behind her. One of the Defendants then began kicking on the door and kicked it in as the other Defendants stood around him.
All of the Defendant’s then went into the driveway and began damaging the cars which belonged to B. A. And D. S. Officers observed a visible injury to B. A.'s eye. D. S. Provided a story consistent with B. A., but added that after the door was kicked in, the male briefly made entry before D. S. Slammed the door shut and held it shut. When the door was open, the male kicking it was yelling profanities, spitting and being aggressive towards B. A.’s guests. D. S. Confirmed his vehicle was one of the ones damaged outside by the Defendants.
Surveillance video from the rental was consistent with B. A.’s version of events. The male kicking the door in was identified as Defendant Tusa. Surveillance footage from a neighbor depicted all five Defendant’s actively damaging B. A. And D. S.'s cars in the driveway of the rental before getting into the Nissan Altima. Officers observed damage to both vehicles, including broken mirrors, dents, and scratches which exceeded $1,000 in damage based on their training and experience. There was apparent blood on the sidewalks and front steps of the residence.
The frame of the front door was damaged consistent with it being kicked in. YC was the driver of the Nissan Altima and gave the following statement. One of his friends lost their phone and believed it was stolen, which lead to an altercation with a “little bit” of fighting. YC did not get involved and was trying to get the rest of the Defendant’s to leave. YC said he was unsure of the extent of injuries at the house, but that there may be some property damage to other vehicles as some of the mirrors may have broken off during the fighting.
