Lunie Pierre

On December 14, 2024, RR, [DOB REDACTED], reported fraud that occurred with his bank account at Wells Fargo Bank, [ADDRESS REDACTED], Maplewood, Ramsey County. RR said that he communicated with Lunie Pierre, [DOB REDACTED], from 631 Ne 193rd St, Miami, FL, who said she was with Cha Luna Travel Agency. RR was attempting to fly family members from Haiti to Mexico. He deposited $2000 into Pierre’s account through Zelle, and another $3000 into a Bank of America account at her direction. He never received airline tickets.

Pierre told him that the flight had been cancelled. She requested another $10,000 to get more of his family members on another flight in November. At Pierre’s direction, RR went to Wells Fargo in Maplewood and deposited $3000 into an account there and he went to a Bank of America in Maplewood and deposited another $3000. RR did not receive any airline tickets from Pierre. She stopped returning his calls and texts. The number for Pierre listed to God’s Gift Beauty Salon, Inc, owner Lunie Pierre. The number was not associated with Cha Luna Travel.

Investigation also revealed that Pierre is President of a non-profit called Seekers of Haitian Advancement Recognition and Education, Inc. The address associated with that organization is Pierre’s address in Florida. Investigation revealed that the deposits made by RR did go into bank accounts owned by Pierre. On July 21, 2025, an investigator finally reached Pierre by telephone. She asked for RR’s contact information so she could follow up with him. RR later told the investigator that she promised to refund his money.

Pierre told the investigator that the refund would be available on August 15, 2025. By October 30, 2025, RR had not received a refund nor has he received airline tickets and he has suffered a loss of $11,000.
