On September 14, 2025, at approximately 5:12 A.M., officers of the Austin Police Department responded to [ADDRESS REDACTED] West in the City of Austin, County of Mower, on a report of a domestic assault. Sgt. Osborne arrived and made contact with M. N. S. (an adult male). M. N. S. Stated that he witnessed MOO KPAW, DOB/080195, the defendant herein, punch Victim A (an adult male). M. N. S. Advised that the defendant and Victim A are brothers and the defendant does not live at the residence. M. N. S. Stated that he was awakened by the incident and advised that there should be surveillance footage of the assault.
Osborne reviewed the video and observed the defendant punch Victim A in the face while Victim A was seated on a couch in the living room, M. N. S told Osborne that the punch on the video was not the same one he observed, Officer Heeren made contact with Victim A. Heeren observed Victim A to have a red mark on his neck that was consistent with a scratch. Victim A told the officer that he was sleeping in his bedroom when he woke up to the defendant banging on his bedroom door. Victim A stated the defendant then entered his bedroom and asked Victim A why he was killing his son.
Victim A said the defendant then hit him with an open hand and grabbed Victim A by the shirt and necklace. The defendant broke Victim A's necklace which caused the scratch mark on his neck. Victim A stated that the defendant then left his room and went upstairs. Victim A said he eventually followed the defendant and sat on the couch in the living room. Victim A stated the defendant then hit him three times with a closed fist with a shirt wrapped around his hand. Victim A said the shirt was to prevent injuries from being seen.
Officers arrived and observed the defendant with a shirt wrapped around his hand standing in the kitchen. The defendant stated that someone was killing his son. Officer Bradley observed that the defendant could not stand still and was sweating profusely. The defendant told Bradley that his brother (Victim A) killed his son and him. The defendant was speaking other nonsense about the defendant conducting a sacrifice. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Mower County Jail, A review of the defendant's criminal history reflects prior convictions for 5th degree assault dated December 18, 2025 (Ramsey County District Court file 62- CR-15-4650) and 2" degree assault dated September 23, 2016 (Ramsey County District Court file 62-CR~16-2005).
