On January 20, 2026, at approximately 7:30 P.M., R. H. Was sitting in his running, black Toyota Rav 4 in an alley by his house in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota, when two males tapped on his window and told him to get out of the car. One of the males was armed with a light-colored firearm and told R. H. To get out of the car and give them his phone and car. R. H. Complied and the males then left in the black Toyota. Officers were made aware of a similar incident moments before. Police were called and aerial surveillance located the black Toyota in Saint Paul, MN, and observed another white sedan pull up next to the black Toyota, and two people exited the black Toyota and placed a rifle bag from the trunk of the black Toyota into the white sedan.
Both vehicles then drove away and then stopped and all occupants got into the white sedan. The white sedan was then located and stopped using a PIT maneuver by law enforcement. There were five occupants inside. The rear middle seat passenger was identified as Adam Fanah Adam ([DOB REDACTED]), hereafter defendant. There was a white extended magazine on the floorboard near where the defendant had been sitting, which matched the description of the weapon given by R. H. There was also a Glock firearm with a tan/white extended magazine located on the floorboard behind the driver seat in close proximity to the defendant.
Defendant was identified as one of the persons that took R. H.'s car. The defendant presents a risk to public safety and the State seeks a warrant for his arrest.
