On or about April 22, 2026, Law Enforcement were dispatched to the Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center (“AMRTC”) located at 3301 7th Avenue, city of Anoka, Anoka County, MN, on report of a patient, GARRETT WADE WHITE [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein, assaulting multiple staff members and damaging property. Upon arrival, Law Enforcement spoke with AMRTC staff members who reported that Defendant became assaultive when he was informed that he was being moved to a more restrictive housing level due to his recent behavior at the facility.

After hearing this information, Defendant became destructive by kicking doors and windows. Defendant kicked and broke out two windows and damaged multiple doors in the day room and lounge. AMRTC staff estimates the damage caused by Defendant is approximately $3,300.00. While Defendant was causing damage to the facility, AMRTC security staff members N. M. J. And T. D. R. Attempted to restrain Defendant. During the ensuing struggle, Defendant bit both security guards on their hands. Law Enforcement observed that both security guards had visible bite marks on their hands with punctured skin and bleeding.

Additionally, Law Enforcement observed each to have significant swelling in their respective hands from the bites. Another staff member, B. A. S. M, assisted in getting Defendant into a restraint chair. During the struggle, Defendant spit in B. A. S. M.’s face.
