Based on reports from incidents occurring on July 3, 2025 your Complainant offers the following to establish probable cause: During the month of June 2025, law enforcement opened a drug distribution investigation into BENJAMIN GERARD LAMB [DOB REDACTED]. During July 2025, law enforcement arranged for a Confidential Informant to purchase narcotics from LAMB. Law enforcement conduct physical surveillance at address where LAMB was known to pickup narcotics. On July 6 2025, LAMB was observed making a short term stop at the address in the City of Saint Paul, MN. LAMB was driving a car bearing Minnesota bearing Minnesota license plate [PLATE REDACTED]. LAMB departed from the address and drove to the Comfort Inn located at [ADDRESS REDACTED] North in the City of Oakdale, Washington County, State of Minnesota.
LAMB was observed carrying a plastic bag as he entered Comfort Inn room #116. On July 7, 2025, law enforcement was granted a search warrant authorizing a search Comfort Inn room number 116 and LAMB's car. Law enforcement executed the search warrant on the hotel room and found LAMB and a female inside. During a search of the room the following items were discovered: (1) 237.42 grams of a substance that tested positive as containing methamphetamine; (2).1 gram of a substance that tested positive as containing fentanyl; (3) 4.1 grams of a substance containing cocaine.
The State requests a Complaint Warrant issue for LAMB as his whereabouts are unknown at this time and he is known to possess large amounts of controlled substance creating a risk to public safety.
