On or about December 6, 2025, Police responded to a residence located at [ADDRESS REDACTED], in Eden Prairie, in Hennepin County, Minnesota, after a known adult male, Witness 1, called 911 saying he had been on the phone with JACOB ROBERT LINDHOLM [DOB REDACTED], DEFENDANT herein, who was drunk, suicidal, and then heard two gun shots. Police responded and safely detained Defendant. Defendant’s two juvenile sons were in the residence. Police located fresh bullet holes believed to have been recently fired from the shed towards the direction of the house where the juveniles were.
Defendant was previously convicted of 2nd Degree Burglary which prohibits him from possessing firearms in court file number 27CR00054865, convicted on 09/12/2000. Pursuant to a search warrant, police located two firearms in the house, spent cartridges matching the caliber of one of the recovered firearms, and a bullet which had been fired into the garage from the shed. One of the firearms was located in a dog food container and the other under a dresser in Defendant’s bedroom. Police had previously seized over 20 firearms from Defendant during a search warrant after a domestic strangulation arrest last month in November 2025. Defendant has open cases charged with the domestic strangulation and felon in possession in Case File Nos. 27-CR-25-29281 and 27-CR-25-29419. The State is requesting increased bail due to the serious public safety concerns and ongoing pattern of Defendant failing to remain law abiding in his continued possession and use of firearms.
Defendant is in custody.
