On March 13, 2025, officers were dispatched to a theft that had just occurred at Sam's Club Liquor, [ADDRESS REDACTED]., White Bear Lake, MN 55110. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Sam's Club employee, D. J., who stated that the suspect, later identified as MARY ELIZABETH ERICKSON-FROBERG [DOB REDACTED], entered the store, grabbed a cart, loaded the cart with a couple of boxes, with roughly 6 bottles of liquor in each box. ERICKSON-FROBERG then headed toward the front door. D. J. Attempted to yell for ERICKSON-FROBERG to stop, but she passed all points of sale and exited the store without paying for any items.
D. J. Observed ERICKSON-FROBERG load the unpaid items into a 2011 Blue Kia Soul (MN KBV924). Investigators followed up with the owner of the vehicle, S. B., who stated that he borrowed his friends his vehicle to get liquor on March 13, 2025. S. B. Identified the suspect as MARY ELIZABETH ERICKSON- FROBERG. In a statement to police, ERICKSON-FROBERG denied being involved in the theft, but she is on surveillance video taking the liquor without paying for it. The total amount of loss is $1,024.26.
