On September 30, 2025, officers were dispatched to a home in Newport, Minnesota on report of a highly intoxicated juvenile. Officers spoke with S. B., who stated that her foster daughter, 15-year-old A. B. Came home intoxicated and that she did not feel safe with her inside the house. Officers contacted A. B., who was speaking and moving very slowly. A. B. Had difficulty holding a glass of water. While speaking with A. B., she told officers that she was "making money on the down low." Officers have had previous contact with A. B., and she has been the subject of prior sex trafficking investigations.
Officers seized A. B.'s phone and contacted the East Metro Human Trafficking Task Force. Task force investigators obtained a search warrant for the contents of A. B.'s phone and found several photographs of A. B. In a hotel room with an older male. One of the photos showed the older male in underwear with A. B. Wearing only white panties inside the hotel bathroom. Officers scanned the QR code in the photo and learned that the photo was taken at the Hampton Inn in Woodbury, Washington County, Minnesota.
Officers were able to identify the male in the photograph as ALEXANDER WADE CRAMER, [DOB REDACTED]. Officers obtained a search warrant for the Hampton Inn and found that Cramer booked a room on September 28, 2025. Cramer checked into room 313 at 12:05 am on September 29, 2025 and checked out at 11:09 am the same day. Task force investigators spoke with Cramer, who admitted that he met A. B. On snapchat and met her at a park in Newport. Cramer later admitted to taking her to the Hampton Inn in Woodbury where they had sexual intercourse.
Task force investigators spoke with A. B., who stated that Cramer paid her $150 dollars to take a bath nude with Cramer and engage in sexual intercourse. Cramer is out of custody. A warrant is requested due to the severity of the crime.
