The Complainant having reviewed the applicable reports believes the following facts to be true: On November 30, 2025, officers with the St. Paul Police Department were dispatched to an apartment building on Wilson Avenue for a reported domestic assault. Upon arrival, they located Vontre Catrelle Jack, [DOB REDACTED], the defendant herein, in the lobby with D. M. B., fully identified in the police reports. Both parties acknowledged they had a verbal altercation but nothing physical happened. Officers noted that the defendant would speak over D. M. B. Whenever they asked her questions.
The defendant eventually left the scene, leaving officers alone with D. M. B. At that point, D. M. B. Broke down crying and indicted that the defendant assaulted her on November 26, 2025. She showed officers bruises from the assault. D. M. B. Elaborated that she and the defendant were at her apartment on Selby Avenue in the Cit of St. Paul, County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota. The defendant, who is her boyfriend, accused her of cheating on him. They began to argue but it turned physical when the defendant pushed her against a wall.
He put his hands around her neck and squeezed, though not hard enough to impede her breathing. He then hit her on the right side of her head, leaving a knot. He also hit her on the jaw, causing pain and difficulty in completely opening her mouth. When D. M. B. Tried to get away, the defendant would grab her by the arms so hard it caused bruises. D. M. B. Tried to call police but the defendant prevented her from doing so by trying to take her phone. Officers did not locate the defendant after he left the scene.
They learned that the defendant has threatened and assaulted D. M. B. On previous occasions. Complainant has concerns for D. M. B.’s safety and requests a warrant for the defendant’s arrest.
