Robert James Azure

Upon arrival, Deputy Meyer was informed that ROBERT JAMES AZURE [DOB REDACTED] had been acting strangely so jail staff checked on him. Inside of AZURE’s jail cell, they found a baggie containing white crystal like shards and another baggie containing a rock like substance. Deputy Meyer attempted to speak to AZURE but could not adequately converse with him due to AZURE’s difficulty in speaking. Deputy Meyer transported the baggies back to the Becker County Sheriff’s Office to be processed. The baggie containing the white crystal like substance weighed 3.51 grams with packaging and tested positive for methamphetamine.

The baggie containing the white rock like substance weighed 2.86 grams with packaging and tested positive for cocaine. Deputy Meyer noticed that the baggie containing the white rock like substance had small hairs attached to it and the odor resembled that of feces. AZURE has a prior conviction for Possession of Controlled Substances in the Second Degree in violation of Minn. Stat. 152.022 subd. 2 (1) on June 29, 2011 in ••-CR-••-••••.
