On August 17, 2025, at approximately 7:41 A.M., police responded to the area of Westminster Street and Geranium Avenue, St. Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota, on a report of an assault and robbery. The caller, AMR, reported that there was a naked female bleeding at her house. Upon arrival, police located AJC, who was sitting on the side porch. Her face was covered in blood, she was covered in bruises, and she was only wearing underwear. The caller, AMR, said she heard screaming outside of her residence.
AMR pulled up her cameras and saw AJC being dragged by the hair by two females. AJC stated that she was out with some people she thought were her friends the previous evening. AJC reported that they were at a party in South Minneapolis then got picked up and taken to [ADDRESS REDACTED] and went inside. AJC said the apartment belongs to a female named “Courtney”, later fully identified as COURTNEY CHRISTINE PRESCOTT – [DOB REDACTED]. AJC reported that PRESCOTT got angry with her and began punching her.
Another female began punching and kicking AJC. AJC said there was also a male in the apartment, and he pointed a handgun at her and told her to be quiet. AJC stated that during the assault, PRESCOTT and other females took her phone and purse and refused to return it. AJC said she ran out of the apartment, and at least two of the females caught up to her and began assaulting her. During the assault, AJC reported that she lost consciousness for an unknown period of time. AJC said she was only wearing a bra at this time, and she keeps pepper spray between her breast and bra.
AJC woke up from her loss of consciousness to being pepper sprayed. AJC said the females continued assaulting her, and at some point her bra was ripped off. AJC reported that the two females dragged her back to the apartment by her hair. When they arrived back at PRESCOTT’s apartment, the females told PRESCOTT to come outside and assault her. PRESCOTT continued assaulting her by punching and kicking her. AJC was able to get away and knock on a neighbor’s door for help. AJC did not know the names of her assailants but provided their information from her phone to police.
AJC was transported to the hospital for medical treatment. In a follow-up statement with the investigator, AJC reported that she received a text from a female, “Z”, who asked if she wanted to hang out at approximately 2:00 A.M. AJC now suspects that it was a set up. AJC said she was picked up from her brother’s house, and there were approximately six other people inside the vehicle. AJC stated that they went to an “after-set” party at a house and drank in Minneapolis. Later, they were in another vehicle and went to 1161 Westminster, which is PRESCOTT’s apartment.
AJC said one of the other females had to use the restroom, so they went into the apartment. AJC reported that she knows PRESCOTT through a male friend who used to date PRESCOTT. AJC said PRESCOTT is upset with her and thinks she had sexual intercourse with the male. AJC reported that when they went into the apartment, four males were sleeping in the living room, there was a male in the bedroom, and PRESCOTT was sleeping in another room. After the female used the bathroom, AJC said they were walking to leave when PRESCOTT came out of the room yelling and hit AJC from behind.
