AJC said she began fighting with PRESCOTT when the other females jumped in and began assaulting her as well. While being assaulted, AJC reported that her purse and personal items were ripped away from her. AJC said she ran out of the apartment, but the females chased and caught her. AJC reported that they continued hitting, kicking, and dragging her until she lost consciousness. AJC said they must have located the mace she keeps in her bra for protection because they sprayed her with her own mace.
AJC was unsure whether “Z” participated in the assault and does not know the other females’ names. AJC provided “Z’s” social media information to the investigator. “Z” was identified as ZELATRICA JEAN CRAWFORD – [DOB REDACTED]. The investigator also spoke with the security coordinator for the apartment complex and informed him that one of the suspects may reside in another apartment, which led to another suspect being identified as ASHAUNTA JACQUETTE HEARD-DAWSON – DOB: 3 62-CR-25-8134 Filed in District Court State of Minnesota 10/31/2025 09/07/1990. HEARD-DAWSON, CRAWFORD, and unidentified female 1 entered the patio area of PRESCOTT’s apartment at 7:34 A.M. Shortly thereafter, CRAWFORD walked off the steps of the patio onto the sidewalk, and it appeared that there was an altercation based on CRAWFORD’s hand gestures.
