On August 28, 2025, Woodbury police detective L. Lawrence met with CHILD (fully identified in associated incident reports) related to a disclosure of sexual abuse by a friend of her family, FRANCIS DEBLASE [DOB REDACTED]. During the meeting, CHILD [NAME REDACTED]. Lawrence about her relationship with DEBLASE. CHILD [NAME REDACTED] would often stay with CHILD's family in the various houses where they lived, including one such residence on Sutherland Drive in Woodbury, Washington County. CHILD mentioned that when DEBLASE stayed at the Sutherland residence, he would sleep on a couch in the residence downstairs, while she and her sister would stay upstairs in the bedroom.
CHILD [NAME REDACTED] would often text her in the late evening/early morning hours and ask her to come to the downstairs couch to cuddle with him. During these encounters, CHILD [NAME REDACTED] would touch her butt and her chest area over her clothing. CHILD recounted one morning waking up and no one else was home, except her and DEBLASE. DEBLASE sat on CHILD's bed and told her to wake up. CHILD stated DEBLASE made comments about "waiting until [CHILD] was 18". DEBLASE then asked CHILD [NAME REDACTED] had ever gotten hickeys before.
CHILD [NAME REDACTED]. DEBLASE then lifted up CHILD's shirt and gave her a "couple" hickeys around her chest, right near her breasts and below her neckline. CHILD eventually disclosed the abuse to her family, including her sister, N. S. N. S. Provided law enforcement a video she had taken of the above-mentioned hickeys CHILD [NAME REDACTED]. The video depicts two hickeys on CHILD's chest below her neckline, right above her bra. CHILD's date of birth places CHILD at thirteen years of age between October 1, 2023 and November 30, 2023.
