On April 1, 2025, Fridley Police Officers responded to a financial transaction card fraud and theft report from Menards located at [ADDRESS REDACTED] Northeast, Fridley, Anoka County. Loss Prevention Officer K. S. At the Fridley Menards stated he was advised by Menards Corporate that fraudulent activity had occurred on March 31, 2025, at 0848 hours, at the Fridley Menards, for $999.98. Three males on surveillance were identified: Suspect 1: JAFARI TYWAN BANKS, Defendant Banks herein, who was wearing a white mask in most of the incidents he participated in and driving a Volkswagen Atlas.
Suspect 2: ROGERS ORLANDO JORDAN, Defendant Jordan, who wore gold glasses at all locations he participated in and drove a rented white Dodge Ram with Minnesota license plate [PLATE REDACTED] that he rented in his own name and confirmed by the rental company. Suspect 3: TREVION DEONTAE MARCELLE BROWN, Defendant Brown herein, who drove a white Chevrolet Malibu with Minnesota license plate [PLATE REDACTED]. Menards Corporate Loss Prevention Officer, C. M., stated that two suspects were on surveillance picking up a Menards Contractor Credit Card that was dropped by an authorized user of the card who was in front of the males in line at checkout.
The owner of the credit card is Kleinman Realty Company. Employees of Kleinman Realty Company, L. H. And E. H., confirmed that they do not know the people that picked up the dropped card, then used the card, and the charges are fraudulent. It was discovered that the Defendants had used the card at multiple places throughout the State of Minnesota. Prosecution for all incidents will be prosecuted under this complaint. Surveillance captured the follow fraudulent transactions: On March 30, 2025, Defendant Banks entered the Brooklyn Park Menards, [ADDRESS REDACTED] North, Hennepin County, with a clear view of his face, picks up the credit card left at the checkout by employee of Kleinman Reality Company J. J. And then leaves the store.
Defendant Banks and Defendant Jordan enter the Golden Valley Menards, [ADDRESS REDACTED], Hennepin County, and charge $2,936.94 to the card then leave in Defendant Jordan's white Dodge Ram with Minnesota Plate LKS626. Defendant Banks and Defendant Jordan in the same clothing as the Golden Valley location, enter the Brooklyn Park Menards. They then charge $2,316.64 to the card. Defendant Banks and Defendant Jordan in the same clothing as the Brooklyn Park Menards, then go to the Coon Rapids Menards, [ADDRESS REDACTED] Northwest, Anoka County, and charge $1,693.99 to the card.
Defendant Banks then enters the Fridley Menards, [ADDRESS REDACTED] Northeast, Anoka County and charges $1,218.91 to the card. 3 ••-CR-••-•••• Filed in District Court State of Minnesota 1/20/2026 Defendant Banks then enters the West St. Paul Menards, [ADDRESS REDACTED] South, Dakota County, and charges $1,465.61 to the card. The following day, on March 31, 2025, Defendant Banks and Defendant Jordan enter the St. Paul Midway Menards, [ADDRESS REDACTED] West, Ramsey County, and charge $1,937.98 to the card.
