On April 24, 2026, Otter Tail County Sheriff's Lieutenant Huckeby was contacted by Fergus Falls Police Lieutenant Miller regarding a possible runaway juvenile. Lieutenant Miller indicated that he took a statement from Catherine Mason who stated that the runaway juvenile P. H. W. Was likely still at the address of [ADDRESS REDACTED], Underwood, a location in Otter Tail County. Mason provided consent for law enforcement to search the residence. Law enforcement responded to the address and made contact with Garret Moses, the above-named defendant.

The defendant refused to return the juvenile stating that he did not know the juvenile and that law enforcement would have to find her themselves. Law enforcement entered the door code provided by Mason and entered the residence. The juvenile was located in the basement of the residence holding a beer can and attempting to conceal herself. During an interview with another female juvenile individual in the residence law enforcement learned that the runaway juvenile had been present since April 19, 2026. The defendant's date of birth is 09/06/2005. The runaway juvenile's date of birth is 01/18/2011. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to Minn.
