On March 19, 2026, Deputy Gengler was informed that Antonio Donnell Oesby, [DOB REDACTED] was incarcerated in the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center after he was brought in by the Rochester Federal Medical Corrections Facility and ready for release to Prince Georges County in the State of Maryland to finish his sentencing. Deputy Gengler contacted the Prince Georges County, Maryland Sheriff's Office to confirm their intent to extradite Antonio Donnell Oesby from the State of Minnesota. Deputy Gengler requested and received a copy of the warrant and sentencing information from the State of Maryland as follows: Case # CT000036X – Charges of Attempted Robbery with Deadly Weapon and Attempted Robbery, sentenced to a total of 33 years, to run consecutive to any other sentences currently being served Signed 04/05/2001 by Cheryl Horty, Chief Deputy Clerk Case # CT000037X – Charges of Third Degree Sex Offense and Robbery with Deadly Weapon sentenced to a total of 33 years, to run consecutive to sentence in Case # CT000036X Signed 03/30/2001 by Cheryl Horty, Chief Deputy Clerk Case # CT001770X – Charges of Murder and 1st Degree Rape, sentenced to two (2) life sentences, to run consecutive to sentence in Case # CT000037X Signed 08/15/2001 by Rosalyn E. Pugh, Clerk of Circuit Court On March 20, 2026, Deputy Gengler conducted an extradition interview with Antonio Donnell Oesby at the Adult Detention Center.
Antonio Donnell Oesby verbally identified himself and after he was read his Miranda Rights, he stated he understood and invoked his rights. 2 55-CR-26-2061 Filed in District Court State of Minnesota 3/23/2026 Complainant has reasonable grounds to believe that Antonio Donnell Oesby, who is currently in the custody of the Olmsted County Sheriff, is the person described in the documents received from the State of Maryland and is a fugitive from justice. The said Antonio Donnell Oesby should be brought before the Olmsted County District Court so that he may be advised of his rights and a determination be made whether or not he waives extradition to the State of Maryland or whether he contests and demands a hearing relative to the right of the State of Maryland to return him to the State of Maryland.
