On or about November 6, 2025, at approximately 2:21 P.M., Minneapolis Police Officers were dispatched to the area of west Broadway and Girard Avenue North, in the City of Minneapolis, County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota. Upon arrival officers observed a vehicle with the driver’s side door open. Officers observed a female, who would be later identified as Beoncca Larae Bellanger [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein, who was on the sidewalk with garbage bags full of clothes and belongings scattered everywhere.
Officers spoke to Defendant, who reported that a man came up to her claiming she had stolen the vehicle. Defendant was asked to provide her identification, and Defendant responded it was somewhere in the pile of clothes. Defendant was asked by an officer for her name, and she provided the name of “Zoe Pizarro,” with a date of birth of 07/12/1995 and then provided the year of 1993. An officer confronted Defendant about changing the year from 1995 to 1993. Defendant later provided to another officer on scene a driver’s license for “Zoe Pizarro,” with the date of birth of 07/12/1993, which was a real person.
Officers observed the picture on the license did not look exactly like Defendant. Defendant was further questioned about her real name. Defendant then provided her real name, which was “Beoncca Larae Bellanger [DOB REDACTED].” Checks revealed Defendant had a felony warrant out for her arrest. When officers walked back over to Defendant to place her under arrest, Defendant refused and slowly started to back up. Defendant then ran northbound across west Broadway where traffic was traveling. Officers ran after Defendant, caught up to her, and eventually placed her in handcuffs.
