Brandt Thomas Boudreau

On or about May 12, 2026, Edina police responded to an apartment complex located at [ADDRESS REDACTED] South, Edina, Hennepin County, Minnesota, because a person later identified as BRANDT THOMAS BOUDREAU [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein, was found in an apartment unit that was now vacant and not rented by anyone. Defendant was found in the apartment unit that was previously rented by his mother, who passed away. Defendant had no legal right to be in the apartment and was not supposed to be. Officers entered the apartment unit and located Defendant and arrested him.

Defendant had a department of corrections warrant for his arrest. With Defendant's belongings, police found two packages addressed to C. W. That were worth approximately $137.95 that were addressed to a different resident of that apartment complex and stolen when left out for collection at the mailboxes within the building. Given Defendant's possession of the packages and being found in the building, it is believed that Defendant took the packages that were left out for collection. Defendant is currently in custody at the Hennepin County Adult Correctional Facility and has an extensive history related to theft-related crimes.

Therefore, the State requests a warrant issue for Defendant.
