At approximately 12:10 pm on 4/9/2026, Officers responded to a hotel room at 4XX 8 St. South, Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Carmine Roman Oran Beaulieu, herein Defendant, was covered in blood, detained, and taken to the hospital. Victim, Defendant’s girlfriend of approximately one year, reported that earlier in the evening they attended a concert together. Defendant became increasingly jealous and agitated. They returned to the hotel room. Defendant told Victim to "shut the f*** up," he tried to lock himself in the bathroom.
Defendant began striking his head against the toilet seat. Following efforts to intervene in Defendant’s self-harm, defendant placed both hands around Victim’s neck and forcefully threw her onto the bed. While on top of Victim, Defendant applied pressure to her neck with both hands, impeding her ability to breathe. Victim [NAME REDACTED], dizziness, visual disturbances (seeing spots), and difficulty swallowing during the strangulation. Defendant said, "Is this what you want," while applying pressure to her neck.
The strangulation ceased only when Witnesses intervened. Defendant returned to the bathroom and continued in his self-harm. Victim called 911. Defendant is out of custody. Warrant requested for public safety.
