On December 23, 2025, Minneapolis police were dispatched to a domestic in progress at [ADDRESS REDACTED], Minneapolis, Hennepin County. Call notes indicated the reporting party’s ex-boyfriend was threatening to hit her with a glass bottle. The caller indicated her ex-boyfriend had just gotten out of jail. Upon arrival, officers met with the reporting party, herein Victim, who stated Tommy McGraw-Williams, herein DEFENDANT, had invited her over to his apartment to retrieve some of her belongings. While at the apartment, DEFENDANT had been drinking and fell asleep.
Victim tried to wake DEFENDANT up, which caused his demeanor to change. DEFENDANT began yelling at her to leave his apartment. DEFENDANT threatened Victim [NAME REDACTED] would have his siblings harm her and that they were known to possess handguns. DEFENDANT then retrieved a liquor bottle and made threatening motions towards Victim. Victim [NAME REDACTED] had been prior instances of domestic abuse and she feared for her safety. DEFENDANT has been charged with Second Degree Assault, Threats of Violence, and Felony Domestic Assault from an incident that occurred December 20, 2025. That case involved two different victims and is currently on warrant status with case file 27-CR-25-32245. DEFENDANT has 8 prior felony domestic assault related convictions.
Within the last 10 years, DEFENDANT has the following prior qualifying domestic related convictions: 27-CR-16-32207 – Felony Violate a No Contact Order 27-CR-16-5717 – Felony Violate a No Contact Order 27-CR-18-12988 – Felony Violate a No Contact Order and First-Degree Burglary DEFENDANT is currently out of custody with an active warrant in the above case. Therefore, a warrant is requested in the present case.
