The search warrant was for controlled substances related to a possible marijuana plant grow operation. The warrant was executed the same day. Officers searched the home and found immature and mature marijuana plants, marijuana flower, marijuana concentrate, marijuana gummies, and related manufacturing equipment in different areas of the home. In a Mirandized statement, the Defendant claimed ownership of the marijuana products and explained that it was for personal use. He also said that he gave some of his products to family and friends who were suffering from medical ailments.
Officers also found psilocybin mushroom products. The Defendant said that he was planning on using these to address his personal physical ailments. In total, the officers who executed the search warrant found: 10 capsules filled with psilocybin mushrooms 15 grams of psilocybin mushrooms 6.42 pounds of loose-leaf marijuana flower 731 grams of THC Concentrate 21 juvenile marijuana plants 1 mature marijuana plant PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to Minn. Stat. 609.49, intentional failure to appear for duly scheduled court appearances may result in additional criminal charges, and in addition to any arrest warrant that may otherwise be issued by the Court.
