Probable Cause
On or about March 24, 2026, Eden Prairie police responded to a call for service at Liquor 3 located at [ADDRESS REDACTED], Eden Prairie, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Upon arrival to the store, they learned that a person had used rocks to break through glass door panels and enter the store and take some items from the store and leave. The suspect was identified as ABDULAZIZ ALI D JAMA HAID [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein because police had a prior encounter with him earlier in the night at a sober facility where Defendant was wearing the same clothes.
The damage to the door was estimated at s $1,254.00 to repair. Defendant took two blue buzzballs, a pint of Jose Cuervo, and a pint of Lime Azul. The store in question is a municipal liquor store owned by Eden Prairie and Defendant did not have consent to break into or steal from it and was not an employee there. Defendant appeared intoxicated when this crime occurred. Defendant is currently in custody at the Hennepin County jail on an unrelated matter for a Conditional Release Violation warrant in 27-CR-25-28217. At this time, the State requests a warrant issue for Defendant.
