On December 26, 2023, the Carver County Sheriff's Office was notified of a break-in that had occurred at a residence on Creekwood Street in the City of Chanhassen, Carver County. Deputy Watkins learned that G. A. And D. A., the homeowners, had left town on December 20. G. A. And D. A. Advised they learned of the break-in by viewing a security camera that showed the rear patio door to appear differently and noted the temperature of the residence to be below normal. The camera showed a live video only and had no recording capabilities.
Deputy Watkins arrived at the residence and confirmed that a rear patio door had been broken. Deputies entered the residence and observed numerous items appeared to have been taken and rifled through. G. A. And D. A. Later indicated that over 30 pieces of jewelry had been stolen from inside the residence. Deputy Arnst later submitted DNA samples from several items to the Minnesota BCA for analysis. One of the items submitted was a rock that appeared to have been thrown through the patio door to gain entry.
The DNA was subsequently determined to math the DNA profile of Mark Tracy Seaborn [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter Defendant. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to Minn. Stat. 609.49., intentional failure to appear for duly scheduled court appearances may result in additional criminal charges, and in addition to any arrest warrant that may otherwise be issued by the Court.
