On November 18, 2025, at approximately 4:47 P.M., Hennepin County Sheriffs were on routine patrol in the area of Penn Avenue North near 26th Avenue North, Minneapolis, Hennepin County. Deputies observed a black Ford Explorer with Minnesota plate LXC105 traveling north with the passenger headlight out and numerous large cracks running along the front windshield. Officers stopped the vehicle. In approaching the driver's side, Officers could smell the odor of raw Marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle.
The driver was identified as SIDNEY ABRAM JACKSON, Defendant herein. When the Defendant retrieved his license and insurance registration, he opened a small backpack that was between the driver and passenger seat. Deputies could see in plain view packaging consistent with Marijuana. Deputies advised of the laws regarding transportation of Marijuana and the Defendant acknowledged there was Marijuana inside the vehicle and then threw the backpack into the trunk area of the vehicle. Officers advised the vehicle would be searched due to the improper transportation of the Marijuana.
The Defendant refused to exit the vehicle and had to be pulled from the vehicle. Inside the backpack was Marijuana inside the packaging. Also inside the backpack was a clear container with suspected narcotics. There was also unused Marijuana packaging and a digital scale. Deputies then located a "Supreme" brand duffle bag with the following items: - an empty bottle of Promethazine Hydrocloride and Codeine Phosphate Oral Solution, also known as "Lean" when used illicitly, - a clear baggie of 7.98 grams of FTP Psilocybin Mushrooms (item#2), - eleven pill bottles with no legible labels and pills inside (item #3-13), - Item 3a - 42 Oxycodone Hydrochloride Schedule II pills weighing of 6.14 grams, - Item 4a - 85 Adderall Schedule II pills weighing 30.57 grams, - Item 5a - 47 Alprazolam Schedule IV pills weighing 12.45 grams, - Item 6a - 75 Alprazolam Schedule IV pills weighing 19.16 grams, - Item 7a - 55 Alprazolam Schedule IV pills weighing 15.70 grams, - Item 8a - 41 Alprazolam Schedule IV pills weighing 10.53 grams, - Item 9a - 8 Alprazolam Schedule IV partial pills weighing 0.64 grams, - Item 10a - 76 Alprazolam Schedule IV pills weighing 19.67 grams - Item 11a - 19 Alprazolam Schedule IV pills weighing 6.09 grams, - Item 12a - 79 Alprazolam Schedule IV pills weighing 20.27 grams, - Item 13a - 9 Alprazolam Schedule IV pills weighing 2.91 grams. - white powder that FTP for cocaine and weighed 50.89 grams (item #1), - a box of clear baggies, - Marijuana residue covering the interior lining of the bag, - packages of Marijuana, - a cell phone (item #15), and - a document with the Defendant's name and address inside. 4 ••-CR-••-•••• Filed in District Court State of Minnesota 12/11/2025 Also inside the vehicle were three cell phones.
