On or about January 20, 2025, Minneapolis police responded to the 1400 block of 31st Street West in Minneapolis, in Hennepin County, in Minnesota, on the report of a domestic abuse in progress. A known adult female, Victim herein, reported that she was being assaulted by her boyfriend, JORDAN ISAIAH BOOKER [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein. Officers arrived and spoke with Victim. Officers observed injury to Victim’s face including a minor laceration. Defendant was gone when officers arrived. Victim informed officers that she and Defendant had dated for approximately five years and have two children together.
Victim [NAME REDACTED] during a parenting time exchange she tried to speak with Defendant about his mother kissing the children on the mouth. Victim [NAME REDACTED] told Defendant she was uncomfortable, he became angry and aggressive. Defendant threw a diaper bag at Victim’s face, after which she retreated into the lobby of her apartment building. After she went to the lobby, Victim testified that Defendant found a cinderblock in the parking lot and threw the block in the direction of her vehicle.
This scared Victim. Victim went outside thinking that her vehicle had been damaged and Defendant’s mother pulled Victim [NAME REDACTED]. While Victim [NAME REDACTED] in the car, Defendant punched her 40-50 times in the face and head. Victim was able to get away and call police. Defendant has two prior qualified domestic related convictions to include: - Misdemeanor Violate Domestic Abuse No Contact Order convicted on 1/20/2016 in case file no. 62-CR- 16-405. - Misdemeanor Violate Domestic Abuse No Contact Order convicted on 1/20/2016 in case file no. 62-CR- 16-406. Defendant is out of custody.
