Houssein Mohamed Sheikh

At around 11:30 PM on March 26, 2026, officers were sent to [ADDRESS REDACTED], St. Paul, Ramsey County on a man who was being aggressive with family members. Officers spoke to family members who said HOUSSEIN MOHAMED SHEIKH [DOB REDACTED] had been verbally aggressive with his mother. Sheikh provided police with a false name. Family members told police Sheikh’s real name. Officers verified that Sheikh had a warrant for his arrest out of Ramsey County, 2 warrants for his arrest out of Scott County, and 3 warrants for his arrest out of Hennepin County.

Officers searched Sheikh and recovered a green piece of paper that contained a white powder in Sheik’s belongings. The contents of the piece of paper recovered from Sheikh tested positive for the presence of fentanyl and weighed 0.05 grams. Sheikh has 5 prior felony convictions. On December 5, 2025, Sheikh was sentenced on a felony VOCSL 5 in Scott County District Court file 70- CR-25-17171. On March 10, 2026, a probation violation was issued for Sheikh’s arrest in that case.
