On November 22, 2024, SRO Larson was working at South Jr. High School in the City of St. Cloud, Minnesota when he responded to an abuse complaint. The student involved was Child A, fully identified in the police reports, who was under the age of 18. Child A reported that on the previous evening, her mother, Arquette Shada Wilson, [DOB REDACTED], the defendant herein, had administered a "whooping" for missing class. Child A reported that the defendant ordered Child A to pull her pants down and struck Child A approximately 20 times on her bare legs while Child A was bent over the bed.
This occurred at their residence on County Road 6 in the City of St. Cloud, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota. Child A also reported that the defendant used a belt when she struck her. Police obtained photos of Child A's injuries, which showed marks. Child A further stated that she reported the incident to her father, who still lives in Mississippi. Child A stated that her dad spoke to the defendant about the incident, and that in response, the defendant confronted Child A for telling her father.
The defendant then struck Child A in the legs (over her clothing). Law enforcement made contact with the defendant, who admitted to striking Child A with a belt. Complainant has reason to believe and does believe that all of the above information is true and correct. The above facts constitute your complainant's basis for believing that the above-named defendant, on or between November 21, 2024, in the City of St. Cloud, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota, committed the offense described herein.
