On January 6, 2026, ASF went to the lobby of the St. Paul Police Department to report prior acts of domestic assault that took place at an apartment at [ADDRESS REDACTED], St. Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota. ASF told the officer that she used to be in a relationship with ABDULLAHI IBRAHIM MOHAMED – [DOB REDACTED]. ASF reported that MOHAMED was currently in custody in Hennepin County for domestic assault by strangulation against his current girlfriend, which is what made ASF feel comfortable coming to the police station to report the abuse.
ASF reported the following acts of abuse by MOHAMED: July 25, 2024 ASF said that she had a few friends over drinking that evening. ASF reported that MOHAMED accused her of flirting with the male, B, so he slapped her across the face, pushed her into a wall, and strangled her. ASF stated that she was able to get free with the help of her friend, V. ASF told her friends to leave, then she and MOHAMED continued to scream and physically fight with each other. During the fight, ASF reported that MOHAMED took her phone and keys so she could not leave and threatened to kill her and her three year old son.
February 9, 2025 ASF said that she and MOHAMED argued about him cheating on her. ASF reported that MOHAMED threw a phone at her head then hit her in the face with his gun. ASF said she sustained a bruise and bump on her upper cheekbone from the incident. ASF reported that she fled from the apartment and asked the dispatcher to remain on the phone with her until she got to her vehicle. ASF did not report the assault at the time due to fear that MOHAMED would kill her. ASF reported that she went to the Grand 7 bar and spoke with one of the bartenders, who asked about the marks on her face, and ASF told her what happened.
ASF said the bartender previously saw bruises and marks on her from previous incidents of abuse. The investigator located the corresponding CAD comments from the call, which stated that the caller wanted the dispatcher on the phone while she walked to her vehicle and thought she may have been followed by her ex-boyfriend. On February 10, ASF said MOHAMED took a photograph of her partially nude on the bed from behind, and he sent the photograph to her parents when she confronted him about cheating on her.
ASF said MOHAMED also took a video of the two of them having sexual intercourse and threatened to send that video as well. March 5, 2025 ASF said she confronted MOHAMED about cheating again, and he punched her in the face. ASF reported that MOHAMED then removed the belt from his pants and wiped the metal belt buckle across her face. After he struck her with the belt, ASF said MOHAMED shoved her against the wall and strangled her until she became unconscious. ASF reported seeing stars right before passing out.
ASF said MOHAMED grabbed her neck from behind with both hands gripping so tightly that he left scratch marks with his nails on the front of her neck. ASF reported that MOHAMED took his gun and hit her across the face, which is what woke her up. When she woke up, ASF said that her pants were wet because she lost control of her bowels and urinated. ASF reported that MOHAMED took her phone and deleted the pictures 3 ••-CR-••-•••• Filed in District Court State of Minnesota 1/21/2026 she took of the marks and bruises, but she was able to save some.
