On September 15, 2025, St. Louis Park Police Department Officer(s) were dispatched to an apartment building on the 3000 block of Virginia Ave, in St. Louis Park, Hennepin County, Minnesota related to damage to property occurring at that location. The reporting party noted that that about 5:30 – 5:40 A.M. That morning, a male damaged the front door of the building. The door damage included a damaged internal lock mechanism, which is estimated to cost approximately $300 to repair. In reviewing surveillance video of the front door from this time, officer(s) observed a male with unique visible tattoos approaching the door to the building before pulling something out and forcing the door open.
The male then entered the apartment building while placing what appears to be a red handled screwdriver or similar tool into his front pocket. Officer(s) later received a report from an individual associated with the address that their property was taken during this incident. The property taken was a "BMW of Minnetonka" tote bag valued at $150.00 and was taken from the communal locker area. Officer(s) were able to identify the suspect in this case as Nicholas Dale Wilson [DOB REDACTED], based on his unique tattoos.
