On October 4, 2025, Hopkins Police Officers were dispatched to Dollar Tree located at 1404 Mainstreet in the City of Hopkins, Hennepin County, Minnesota, on a report of a fight inside. Sergeant Hill responded and spoke with store manager, K. K., who stated that a female customer, later identified as N. B., the victim herein, was paying for some items when a female, later identified as CALISA ASHAS BRADY, [DOB REDACTED], the defendant herein, entered the store and confronted the victim. K. K. Stated the defendant was the aggressor and wanted her trespassed.
Officers located the defendant, who was intoxicated, and issued her a trespass notice. Sgt. Hill reviewed store surveillance which showed the victim in the check out line to pay for her merchandise. The defendant enters the store and makes no attempt to shop and just stands in line behind the victim. The victim pays for her items and she and her children exit the store. The defendant immediately follows. The victim re-enters the store and the defendant waits for her outside on the sidewalk. The victim told K. K. That the defendant has been following her, and she does not know why.
The victim again exits the store and approximately 15 seconds returns upset. The defendant appears at the door and continues to engage the victim. Another person needed to intervene as the defendant is trying to fight the victim. The defendant is seen swing her right hand, which was holding a purse, towards the victim [NAME REDACTED]. Sgt. Hill later spoke with the victim [NAME REDACTED] had been harassing her for days and the victim [NAME REDACTED]. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to Minn. Stat. 609.49., intentional failure to appear for duly scheduled court appearances may result in additional criminal charges, and in addition to any arrest warrant that may otherwise be issued by the Court.
