On September 17, 2025, Investigator Kotschevar met with Child A (DOB: 2009). Child A disclosed that in October of 2024 she met a male, later identified as Cristian Javier Ayavaca Sanchez, [DOB REDACTED], the defendant herein, through Snapchat. Child A disclosed that she and the defendant arranged to meet and that the defendant picked her up in his vehicle and brought her to a nearby park. Child A disclosed that the defendant then dropped her back off at home. Child A disclosed that they continued communicating via Snapchat and arranged to meet a second time.
Child A reported they met the second time on October 14, 2024, or October 15, 2024. Child A disclosed that the defendant picked her up and they went to a lake access, in the Township of Avon, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota. Child A disclosed that at one point they went into the back seat area of the defendant's vehicle. Child A disclosed that the defendant vaginally penetrated her with his penis. Law enforcement made contact with the defendant. The defendant admitted to meeting Child A. The defendant admitted to picking up Child A and taking her to a nearby location.
The defendant admitted that penile/vaginal penetration occurred with Child A in his vehicle. Child A was at least 14 years of age but less than 16 years of age in October of 2024. The defendant is more than 60 months older than Child A. The complainant has reason to believe and does believe that all of the above information is true and correct. The above facts constitute your complainant's basis for believing that the above-named defendant committed the offense described herein on or between the 14th and 15th day of October 2024 in the Township of Avon, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota.
