On July 26, 2025 Officer Baker received a call from Walmart regarding a stolen laptop. The complainant stated that the suspect had entered the electronics area and selected a computer and placed it in a cart. The suspect then moved towards the sporting goods area. It was suspected that the suspect used the RFID system in the sporting goods area and then exited the store using the fire door without paying for the item. The suspect was described as a lone male who had left the scene in a vehicle with plate DUJ373, described as a goldish colored Ford Taurus.
The incident had occurred 45 minutes prior to the call coming in.
