The reports were all similar in nature and identified M. A. H., [DOB REDACTED] and THOMAS JOSEPH HAMLIN, [DOB REDACTED], the above-named defendant, as suspects. Coborn’s Asset Protection reviewed security camera footage to determine how M. A. H. And the Defendant stole merchandise from the store. They determined that on each incident date, M. A. H. And the Defendant arrived at Coborn’s in their car and parked in the parking lot. They then entered the store through the Little Duke’s entrance, procured a cart, and started shopping.
After placing multiple items in their cart, they would leave the way they entered through Little Duke’s and bypass all registers. At no point did they receive permission to leave the store without paying for their times. Security camera footage also revealed that, on multiple occasions, M. A. H. Went back inside the store while the Defendant loaded the unpaid items into their car. She would shop a bit more and then go through check-out to pay for those items. She would then return to the car and leave with the Defendant and the unpaid merchandise.
