On November 2, 2025, at approximately 10:41 PM, Rochester Police Officers responded to reports of a fire in northeast Rochester, Olmsted County, Minnesota. Officer Morales observed a small fire on a nearby high voltage electrical box. Officer Morales also observed scattered paint cans and purple paint near the fire. Officer Morales made contact with Grendahl who denied any involvement with the fire. While speaking with Grendahl, Officer Morales observed purple paint on Grendahl’s shoes and hands.
