On May 25, 2026, at approximately 8:14 PM, Deputy Rosati of the Carver County Sheriff's Office responded to a domestic situation at a residence located on the 7800th block of Lilac Ln., Victoria, Carver County, Minnesota. Upon arriving law enforcement spoke with an adult female (hereinafter, "Victim") visibly shaken and nervous to step outside of the residence. When Victim did step outside the residence she appear around the corners as if she was looking for someone. Victim spoke with law enforcement and explained that she is fearful for her and her families safety.
Victim broke up with an adult male named Devin Tyler Granger, [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein. Victim [NAME REDACTED] in December of 2025 because Defendant was abuse towards her. After ending the relationship Victim [NAME REDACTED] could not contact her. Defendant began contact Victim [NAME REDACTED]. Victim [NAME REDACTED] has been receiving are from Defendant as the context and the information provided are only things Defendant would know. On May 23, 2026, Defendant sent a series of messages to Victim [NAME REDACTED] was going to "f*** up your mom's place tomorrow just watch" "I wish you would all die" "Ima kill Danny and Nicole tomorrow". Victim [NAME REDACTED] is Victim's mother and Danny is married to her mother.
On May 25, 2026, Defendant shows up at Victim [NAME REDACTED]. Defendant stayed in the street near his vehicle and Victim observed Defendant when she ran out of the house to get something out of her vehicle. After Victim [NAME REDACTED] was observed approaching the front of the residence and tried to get Victim [NAME REDACTED]. A KOPS alert was issued and Defendant was apprehended on May 27, 2026 in Golden Valley. Defendant provided a mirandized statement explaining that he was at Victim's residence and was trying to speak with Victim.
Defendant admitted to sending Victim a "bunch" of messages but denied remembering any that were threatening or causing her to be concerned for her safety. Defendant was confronted with sending the threatening messages and Defendant stated that he does not recall sending them but at the time he was drinking a lot. If any threatening messages were sent it was when Defendant was drinking. Defendant did not wish to add anything further to this statement. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to Minn. Stat. 609.49., intentional failure to appear for duly scheduled court appearances may result in additional criminal charges, and in addition to any arrest warrant that may otherwise be issued by the Court.
