Officer Thisius found and detained the suspect, ALAN RANDOLPH HEYWOOD [DOB REDACTED] in the bathroom of the business. Officers took a further statement from Witness, who said that he saw Heywood enter the building with a knife in hand, and he was "muttering obscenities under his breath," and appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance. Heywood was searched while being detained, and officers found a folding knife in his pants, and a folder piece of paper in a pants pocket. When Officer Thisius later opened up the piece of paper, she found a substance that later tested positive for methamphetamine and weighed 1.4 grams in total.
