Christopher Alan Ruth

On or about 1/20/2026, at approximately 0433 hours, A. N. Contacted dispatch and reported that Christopher Alan Ruth, [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein, had come through the window of her apartment, located in Parkers Prairie, Otter Tail County, Minnesota and was causing a disturbance. Deputy John Strand spoke with A. N. Who stated that Defendant had been sleeping in the apartment when he woke her up around 0300 hours and started to argue with her. She told him she was calling law enforcement, at which time he left.

Defendant then crawled up on a roof and entered A. N.'s bedroom window. A. N. Said this scared her and she didn't know what to do. A. N. Told him to leave and he told her that her life was going to crumble and one day he would f**king shoot her. At this time A. N. Stated she was calling law enforcement again, Defendant then took her phone, so she was unable to do so. A. N. Then used her son's phone to call 911 and Defendant left the apartment. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to Minn. Stat. 609.49., intentional failure to appear for duly scheduled court appearances may result in additional criminal charges, and in addition to any arrest warrant that may otherwise be issued by the Court.
