On December 10, 2024, New Brighton Police Officer Thai Xiong, the School Resource Officer for Irondale High School, (“SRO Xiong”) was asked to meet a student, M. A. F. (Y. O. B. 2007), regarding a criminal sexual conduct incident. Upon arrival, the school psychologist informed the SRO that M. A. F. Had disclosed in her health class that she had been "gang raped" in January 2023. SRO Xiong met with M. A. F. Who provided the following information: Sometime in January 2023, M. A. F. Was hanging out with J. L. J. D. (Y. O. B. 2008) at his house where they were smoking marijuana and drinking alcohol.
She disclosed that she had done this multiple times previously. On the night of the incident, M. A. F. Went over to J. L. J. D.’s residence around 10:00 P.M. J. L. J. D.’s residence was located at [ADDRESS REDACTED] in the City of New Brighton, Ramsey of Ramsey, State of Minnesota. Once there, M. A. F. Became abnormally high and intoxicated and “felt different.” M. A. F. Recalled J. L. J. D. Asking to have sex with her multiple times to which she said, "No." J. L. J. D.'s friends, COLTIN CHRISTOPHER THOMPSON [DOB REDACTED] (“Respondent”) and A. T. B. (Y. O. B. 2006) arrived at the residence.
J. L. J. D. Asked M. A. F. If she would have sex with them. Again, she declined. M. A. F. Was going in and out of consciousnesses when she woke to J. L. J. D., Respondent, and A. T. B. On top of her having sex with her. M. A. F. Was naked. J. L. J. D., Respondent, and A. T. B. Had condoms on their penises and were inside of her vaginA.M. A. F. Recalls coming in and out of consciousness with the three males taking turns penetrating her vaginally and touching her body. M. A. F. Woke up later that night naked in J. L. J. D.'s bed with the three boys sleeping next to her.
M. A. F. Was tired and fell back asleep. The next day was a school day, so M. A. F. Awoke, found some clothes, and went to school. 2 ••-CR-••-•••• Filed in District Court State of Minnesota 5/20/2026 M. A. F. Was later shown a video of the assault by her friend. M. A. F. Was informed that the video was shared with the wrestling team. M. A. F. Confronted J. L. J. D. About the video via text message. These text messages were shared with law enforcement. In relevant part, the text messages were as follows: M. A. F.: No you didn't, but you know how there was Austin and Coltin that one night?
J. L. J. D.: yes M. A. F.: Yeah they took a f****** video and gave to other people. J. L. J. D.: Of them f****** you M. A. F.: Yep J. L. J. D.:Bru M. A. F.: Yeah not cool with that J. L. J. D.: How did u figure M. A. F. Bc my ex texted me, and asked if the "video rumor was true" J. L. J. D.: How ts getting out M. A. F.: Yeah some guys on the wrestling team showed his sister I know exactly how, somebody gave it out J. L. J. D.: Bro how tf, who tf they show, they know I was there too, was I in it? M. A. F.: Idk bc I can't get the video, Idk who has it J. L. J. D.: I mean I gotta video M. A. F.: Dude J. L. J. D.: bru M. A. F.: What?
