On 11/05/2025 at approximately 0029 hours, Officers responded to a reported domestic disturbance at [ADDRESS REDACTED], Brooklyn Center, Hennepin County. Dispatch advised that the report was related to an earlier incident that Officers responded to and that the person causing the disturbance was Quanihya Glanice Sanders, [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein. Officers arrived and located Defendant seated in her vehicle. Officers drove up to Defendant’s vehicle and activated their emergency lights. An Officer then exited his squad vehicle and advised Defendant to place her vehicle in park.
Officers informed Defendant that they were there to speak with her about the domestic disturbance. Defendant then fled from the Officers in her vehicle at a high rate of speed. Another responding Officer attempted a traffic stop of Defendant but was unsuccessful. Defendant eventually crashed her vehicle into a fence near 66th Ave and Camden Ave N. Officers then approached Defendant’s vehicle and observed several open containers containing suspected marijuana in and around Defendant's vehicle. Defendant was placed under arrest for fleeing, and a search warrant was requested and granted for a blood or urine sample from Defendant.
A blood sample was collected from Defendant and submitted to the BCA for testing. Defendant is currently in custody.
