The following is based on your complainant’s review of the reports of other officers and your complainant’s own investigation: On February 1, 2026, at shortly before 6:30pm, Ramsey County Emergency 911 received a call from a home on Atwater St. In St. Paul, Ramsey County. The caller said that her friend’s boyfriend was making threats with a knife. St. Paul Police responded and met with AET ([DOB REDACTED]). She said that her boyfriend is the defendant, ANOULACK NORADETH ([DOB REDACTED]). She said that today, she and he argued, during which he pushed her.
She said that she and the 911 caller, a friend who was visiting her, barricaded themselves behind a door in the home. She said that the defendant grabbed a large hunting knife and lunged toward her with it whenever she opened the door. She said that he also made verbal threats to kill her. She said that he fled when her friend called 911. The 911 caller confirmed that AET and the defendant had been arguing, that AET attempted to separate herself, and that the defendant was yelling and aggressive.
She said that she saw the defendant holding the knife. Officers found the defendant walking several blocks northwest of the home. He was taken into custody. The knife was found at the time. In a Mirandized interview, the defendant acknowledged that he and AET had argued and that he placed his knife on his belt. He denied threatening her and said that he grabbed the knife because he planned to leave and take it with him. He then added, however, he also intended to scare her with it. He said that he left the knife in the apartment.
The defendant's criminal record includes several felony convictions, as well as at least six convictions for Burglary of a Dwelling – Gross Misdemeanor. AET told officers that the defendant intimidates or threatens her almost daily; she said that the situation is getting worse. She said that he has threatened to have her harmed if she were to police.
