On January 27, 2026, officers responded to a call for threats against a light rail train operator at the Cedar/Riverside light rail station, in the City of Minneapolis, County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota. Officers learned that the operator of the train asked an individual to get off of the train because the train was being taken out of service. The individual eventually left the train, making threatening comments towards the operator while doing so. Officers located the individual at the Franklin station and placed him under arrest.

Officers identified the individual as Guy Ronald Tersini ([DOB redacted]) and searched him incident to arrest. Officers located several knives and a baggie containing a crystalline substance. The substance weighed approximately 1.18 grams and field-tested positive for methamphetamine. Tersini is currently in custody.
