On 11/9/2025 Officers were dispatched to a report of a slumped over driver, parked in a turn lane on 121st Ave NW, in the City of Coon Rapids in the County of Anoka. Upon arrival, the Officers noted that the vehicle was still running and the man in the Driver's seat was unresponsive. Officers entered the vehicle to turn it off and place it in park. It required multiple attempts and sternum rubs before the driver became responsive. The driver, later identified as Jon Michael Dahl [DOB REDACTED], herein Defendant, admitted to swallowing roughly 10 grams of Methamphetamine in a baggie before driving.

During a search of his person, a clear baggie was discovered with a white powdery in it. The substance weighed 1.4 grams, and tested positive for methamphetamine. The vehicle was discovered to have no ignition lock, which Defendant was required per his driver's license. Defendant has 3 qualifying convictions on 3/2025, 5/2025, 6/2025.
