On June 23, 2024, at approximately 1:09 A.M., Wayzata Police responded to the area of [ADDRESS REDACTED] East, in Wayzata, Hennepin County. While responding, officers were redirected to the area of Lake Street East and Barry Avenue South for the report of a fight. Upon arrival, officers observed multiple individuals yelling at one individual later identified as IOVANY DE LEON [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein. Officers learned from the group that the females had made allegations against Defendant, stating that Defendant had touched them inappropriately.
Police interviewed each individual one by one and Defendant was placed under arrest. During a search incident to arrest police located multiple items including a bag containing 7 clear capsules containing a crystal-like substance, a clear bag with an orange triangular pill stamped "Tesla," and 12 adhesive patches with a gold 'P' decal. On May 13, 2025, the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension issued a report indicating the pill collected contained.45 grams of methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA). At present, Defendant is not in custody.
